Chelsea Community Garden Meeting Minutes Monday March 22, 2010 ·
6:10PM Introduction by Misty and Old Business
· 6:15PM Joe reviewed March and April calendar
· 6:20PM Boston Naturals Workshops review
· 6:25PM March 21 2010 Workday talk & report:
1. Moved rocks and leveled soil in some areas
2. Workday reminders & sign up schedules
3. Workdays are every third Sunday of the month
4. Leadership roles on workdays
5. Money for workday buyout was discussed
· 6:30PM Tool Labeling; Martha will make flash cards.
· 6:35PM Organic Gardening discussion was side-tracked by Steering Committee organization and administration discussion.
· 6:40PM Organic Gardening discussion on three levels:
1. Fully Organic
2. Semi-Organic
3. Non-Organic
Then discussion about voting process.
· 6:50PM Additional Steering Committee discussion
· 7:00PM Ballot and explanation of Organic Gardening mailed and emailed by next meeting April 22
· 7:02 PM Deadline for applications and key distribution extended.
